Louis Verdi is an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School with a focus on Finance. He was previously a vice president at Barclays Investment Bank, where he spent nine years in the Structuring division. He moved from London to New York in 2009 following the firm’s acquisition of Lehman Brothers, working on transactions across the asset class spectrum – including equities trading, credit structuring and commodity-linked financing – during the subsequent integration with Barclays, and later leadership transitions at the bank. He is an active member of CSIMA and participated in the 2016 MBA stock pitch challenge at Cornell. He is leading the 2017 SEC Impact Investing Trek to London. He enjoys playing music with the CBS Band and rugby with CBS RFC.
