Austin Fruchter

Austin is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School, where he is a Feldberg Fellow. Prior to attending CBS, Austin was an Investment Associate at Broad Creek Capital, a family office based in Washington, D.C., where he analyzed investment opportunities, monitored existing holdings and played a pivotal part in launching the firm’s inaugural fund. Broad Creek actively invests in real estate assets, venture opportunities, and growth equity. Before joining Broad Creek Capital, Austin operated his family business, Total Records Information Management. Austin successfully managed the turnaround and sale of this business by leading strategic growth initiatives, implementing operational improvements, and investing in existing employees.

Austin graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University with a B.S. in Systems Engineering. During his time at GW, he was actively involved with the club hockey team and the TAMID group.

Austin is originally from Upper Saddle River, NJ. He spent several years in Exeter, New Hampshire at Phillips Exeter Academy before attending GW. In his spare time, Austin enjoys hiking, watching ice hockey, reading science fiction, and trying new restaurants.
