Malida Tadesse is an MBA '21 candidate at Columbia Business School and a Feldberg Fellow. Prior to attending CBS, Malida was based in Nairobi, Kenya where she was the Strategic Projects Manager at Bandwidth and Cloud Services (BCS) Group, a wholesale telecommunications operator in East, Southern and Central Africa.
Malida drove the company’s entry into new markets while managing scaling several aspects of the company’s growth, including internal process transformation, talent management and marketing/PR. Before joining BCS, Malida held various roles at Amazon.com’s headquarters in Seattle, WA.
Malida holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University, where she was a John Kluge Scholar. She was raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC; she calls Maryland, New York and Nairobi home.
In her free time, Malida enjoys cooking, hosting, exercising and keeping up with (or at least trying to) a backlog of non-fiction books and podcasts.
