Tony Lashley is currently Head of Marketing and Operations for Frank Ocean's music label Blonded, and an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
Tony's current work with Frank involves setting goals and KPIs, allocating resources, and negotiating deals for Frank's music ventures, as well as building and executing holistic marketing strategies for all music-related products. Before working for Frank, Tony worked at Spotify in music marketing strategy & operations, where he lead cross-functional strategic and financial planning for the fifty campaigns a quarter Spotify ran on behalf of artists. Before Spotify, Tony worked as a management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group in Chicago, where he spent the majority of his time on media and telecom cases.
Tony graduated from the University of Chicago with of Bachelor of Arts in economics and English literature. In his down time, Tony enjoys listening to music and following music cultures across the world, DJing and dancing, learning languages, and playing pickup basketball. Tony grew up in Silver Spring, MD and is a first-generation American and dual citizen of Grenada.
