T. Sean McKean
T. Sean McKean is a Principal at Bain & Company. He has worked primarily in healthcare including pharmaceuticals, medical technology and payers with a focus on strategy, performance improvement, organizational design, supply chain strategy and go-to-market merger integration.
He leads the New York Latino’s at Bain (LATBA) chapter, an organization for Bain professionals with Hispanic or Latin American roots. He has presented at multiple Bain America’s Leadership Team Meetings (ALTM) on topics ranging from "Category Leadership in Pharma" to "Capturing the Performance Advantage of Scale in Healthcare” to “Inspirational Leadership 2.0: Bringing inspiration to our case teams.”
Sean earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he received Dean’s Honors, and graduated with an honors degree in Government from Harvard College.
Prior to Columbia Business School, Sean worked as Executive Director at CCS Fundraising and as an English as Second Language (ESL) Teacher in the Bronx and Harlem through Teach for America.
Sean lives in New York with his wife and daughter. He enjoys running (5 marathons), basketball, tennis, the LA Lakers, and discussing healthcare and education policy. He also is involved in a variety of community organizations focused on two themes: immigrants’ rights and Cuban civil society.
