HUGO WEHE
Hugo is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School, where he is a Feldberg Fellow and a member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM). Prior to attending CBS, Hugo held several advisory and support roles at 5000 Broadway Productions, a New York City based production company created by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
In his role, Hugo worked closely with Lin-Manuel’s father, Luis Miranda, in supporting all facets of the Miranda Family’s philanthropic, advocacy, and entertainment efforts. During his tenure, his responsibilities ranged from aiding Hamilton the Musical’s Puerto Rico run at Centro de Bellas Artes in 2019, Lin-Manuel’s website administration, and serving as the liaison between Luis Miranda and the various boards on which he sits, to executing special projects for Lin-Manuel like recording and packaging radio voice-overs, managing community engagement events surrounding project releases (such as Encanto and Mufasa), and providing team support related to planning and executing meetings, events and off-site travel. He also assisted with the creation of Unsinkable Productions, a documentary-focused production company telling the Latinx stories that have been missing from the screens, and he associate produced the company’s first short to be accepted to Tribeca Film Festival 2025, titled Watch Over Us.
Hugo graduated from Columbia University (Columbia College) in 2019 with a B.A. in Linguistics and Psychology. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and documentaries, playing board games with friends, cooking, and hanging out with his dog Jay.
